CALL FOR PAPERS AND POSTERS

 

 General guidelines for Submission of Abstracts for Keynote Symposia, Symposia, Workshops and Poster Presentation

1 ) Abstracts must be submitted in English by e-mail only in one of the following formats: Microsoft Word 97 (or lower) or WordPerfect, as a text attachment or in the body of the e-mail message. Fax copies and hard copies are not acceptable.

2) Abstracts should not exceed 300 words including title, name(s) of author(s) and affiliation(s). With tables and figures, abstracts should be maximum one page in length. Single line spacing should be used throughout the text.

3) The title should be as concise as possible. Indicate up to 6 authors' names and initials; if more than 6, use 'et al'. Indicate the presenting author by (*). Provide the name of the institution where the study was done.

4) Abstracts for Symposia, Workshops, Oral and Posters presentations should have methodological clarity and must include introduction, results and conclusions.

5) Include four keywords.

6) Submissions should include a separate sheet with full name, address, fax and e-mail details of the submitting author. Please state the name of the presenting author with his/her contact details.

7) Abstracts should be classified by number according to the list of main topics detailed overleaf. Authors should state if the abstract is for a Symposium, a Workshop, an Oral or a Poster presentation. Although endeavors will be made to accommodate requests, the final allocation of accepted abstracts to the Symposia, Workshops, Oral or Posters Presentations will be decided by the Referees of the World Congress Committee of IOP 2006.

8) Preliminary proposals for Symposia should also include a separate sheet with a list of participants and the titles of the presentations.

9) All abstracts will be refereed by members of the World Congress Scientific Committee of IOP2006 before being accepted. One of the conditions is that if accepted, the paper must be supported and presented at IOP2006 by one of its author(s).

10) Each abstract will be evaluated on all of the above mentioned criteria before acceptance by the Referees of the World Congress Committee.

11) Abstracts will be edited by mode of presentation, i.e., Keynote Presentations, Didactic Lectures, Symposia, Workshops, Oral and Posters Presentations.

12) It is the responsibility of the Referees of IOP2006 World Congress Committee and the Scientific Coordinator of Abstracts, Prof. Helen Beuzeron-Mangina, to review all submitted abstracts for high quality , modifications , acceptance or refusal .

13) Editing and sequencing of Abstracts is the responsibility of the Scientific Coordinator of Abstracts, Dr. J. Helen Beuzeron-Mangina who is appointed to handle these aspects with Elsevier Science for the International Journal of Psychophysiology.

14) Accepted Abstracts will be published in the International Journal of Psychophysiology , which will be given to all registered delegates at the World Congress Site in Istanbul , Turkey .
